  • You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport by our professional tour guide and driven to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arusha National Park

  •  
  • After breakfast, our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel and provide a short safari briefing. You will then depart for Arusha National Park.
  • This beautiful park features a unique ecosystem with swamps, grasslands, and the slopes of Mount Meru covered in tropical rainforest. It attracts numerous animals and birds.
  • You will be accompanied by a ranger who will guide you through the rainforest to a sparkling waterfall, where you may spot black and white colobus monkeys.
  • After lunch at a picnic site, enjoy a game drive through the park, including visits to Momella Lake and the Ngurdoto Crater. Expect to see buffalo, waterbuck, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, gazelles, and a variety of bird species.
  • Late evening, drive to the hotel or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park 

  • After breakfast at the lodge/camp, depart for Tarangire National Park.
  • This park is known for its migratory movements within the greater Tarangire ecosystem and features low-lying hills, Acacia woodland, and giant African Baobab trees with large swamp areas.
  • Enjoy spotting a variety of colorful and exclusive bird species, with over 500 different bird species in the swamps. Tarangire National Park is also home to three rare animal species: the Greater Kudu, fringed-eared oryx, and Ashy starlings. The park boasts the highest density of elephants in northern Tanzania, which can be viewed year-round.
  • After lunch at a picnic site, return to the lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

  • After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.
  • This impressive park is known for its dramatic scenery, serene beauty, tree-climbing lions, elephants, and hippos that can be seen up close.
  • Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake that hosts thousands of flamingos and diverse bird species at certain times of the year. The area is also home to hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes, with the Rift Valley escarpment providing a spectacular backdrop.
  • After lunch, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

  • After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
  • Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
  • Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, which features the Seronera River and is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.
  • Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
  • Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

  • Enjoy a full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of your time.
  • Your guides will choose the best spotting locations based on the time of year. Spend time at the Hippo pool, watch a big pride of lions, or be in the middle of the migration surrounded by wildebeests and zebras.
  • The diverse and interesting landscape offers excellent game viewing opportunities. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species.
  • Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp
  • Main Destination: Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

  • After breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
  • The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spanning 8,300 sq. km, and serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for large mammals.
  • The park is also known for its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards.
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater, then travel back to Arusha where we will end our African safari adventure.
  • Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp
