Arrival in Arusha Town
- You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport by our professional tour guide and driven to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Main Destination: Arusha City
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
- After breakfast, our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel and provide a short safari briefing. You will then depart for Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.
- After lunch, head into Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas. The park is known for its serene beauty, tree-climbing lions, elephants, and hippos. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake that hosts thousands of flamingos and diverse bird species at certain times of the year. The surrounding area is home to hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes, with the Rift Valley escarpment providing a spectacular backdrop.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
- After breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
- The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spanning 8,300 sq. km, and is often described as one of the wonders of the world due to its geological magnificence and its role as a natural sanctuary for large mammals. The crater is also known for its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
- Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Day 3: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park
- After breakfast at the lodge/camp, depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its migratory movement within the greater Tarangire ecosystem and is characterized by low-lying hills, Acacia woodland, and giant African Baobab trees, with large swamp areas that attract diverse wildlife.
- Enjoy spotting large groups of colorful and exclusive bird species, with over 500 different bird species in the swamps. Tarangire National Park is also home to three rare animal species: the Greater Kudu, fringed-eared oryx, and Ashy starlings. The park boasts the highest density of elephants in northern Tanzania, which can be viewed year-round.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then travel back to Arusha in the midafternoon to conclude your African safari adventure.
